Today started off with a great surprise! Dr. Chakraborty left for his trip to India this morning. He flew out of Eugene, and connected in Seattle, made the short drive down to Lake Union to say “hello”. He came baring gifts, several cards from his office, and handfuls of chocolate bars! Yummy! Can’t wait to try them! It was a nice surprise and a nice quick visit. He totally made my day!!

After our visit with Dr. Chakraborty we took advantage of the beautiful weather walked almost two miles today. We started off by walking across the street to the marina, looking at all the boats, watching boats and sea planes come in. I was so excited to test out my new camera. I’m no expert by any means, but had a ton of fun practicing! I think we trekked every inch of the marina, and saw everything it had to offer, Kerry and I jumped on the trolley and headed downtown to Pike’s Place Market. Boy was it packed!!!! We didn’t wander around too much, just picked up some fresh fish for dinner tomorrow night, and also picked out a fresh bouquet of flowers for our apartment. So many beautiful tulips, daffodils, and cherry blossoms love them, took lots of pictures!! I was so proud of myself, leaving Pike’s Street Market I had to climb a pretty steep hill. I did NOT cough, get short of breath, or even have to stop! Felt pretty amazing being able to do that all on my own!!! As we were walking back to the trolley station, I was actually passing people as we were walking! For once I wasn’t the one being passed! Ha ha. Thanks to my new breathers, I’m loving life!!! I will post a few pictures down below from our journey.
On our walk back to our apartment, we walked passed a Redbox, so Kerry and I rented a couple movies for tonight. It’s been an adventurous day, time to put my sweats on and get comfy for the evening. Heard it was a beautiful day at home today! Hopefully everyone enjoyed the sunshine as well! My freckles are starting to pop out. Ha ha.

Until next time…………

This last photo is the hill I climbed going up and coming down. It was crowded so not the best photo, but at least you will get an idea! 🙂
