What an incredible feeling today has been! Once my head hit the pillow last night I was out like a log!! I honestly don’t think I moved until my alarm went off at 6 am to do my morning iv. Good thing it only takes a few minutes because I was back out! I accidentally slept through my 9 o’clock alarm! Oops! I was a little late on taking my tracolimus, hopefully that little mistake won’t mess up my levels too much. Good lesson to be learned! But then again my own bed has never felt so good! When Kerry’s alarm went off this morning of course he got up and got ready for work, but both my four legged furry children jumped up in bed with me. Maui laid down by my feet while Callie was all stretched out right up against me. It just felt s darn good!
My doggies did NOT let me out of their sight today. While I was drinking my morning tea and watching The Price Is Right I opened the slider so they could go outside and come back in as they pleased nope they both laid right by my feet. Once I finished my tea and my show was over it was time to get ready for the day. So I hopped in the shower, when I got done both Maui and Callie were laying right outside the shower door. Which is completely unusual for both of them.
Once I got ready I started to get overwhelmed with all the stuff I need to do around my house. Like unpack and find a home for everything. So I decided it was time to spend the day with my kids. We played outside for awhile, then we went on a car ride to visit Ken and Jennifer Wood, Marty and Jeanne Shelberg and of course my dad or “Grandpaw.” They did great, they even remembered Ken and Jennifer, and were excited to see them. When we arrived at WSK they were more focused on my dad than anyone else. They go nuts when they see my dad, no one else matters except for him when he is around. It is cute. After getting several major heart melting hugs this afternoon, my dad was off to Carquest to get several parts for the ’41 so we tagged along. I went in with my dad and of course I wore my mask, one of our good friends and drag racer is the manager at Carquest. I went in to see if he was working and sure enough he was! I got a great big ole bear hug from Dennis it was so good to see him! Of course we talked racing, one of his employees just bought a super gas car and is in the processes of tearing down and put the motor back together. He is hoping to be able to race it this year. Oh man that got my attention! I told him if he ever needs a driver I’m always available! He laughed, but I was serious!
Anyways the dogs and I were gone for a majority of the day. We returned later this afternoon. Just in time to do my 2 o’clock dose of iv medication. When that was complete I started going through all the mail that has accumulated over the last several months. Next thing I knew Kerry was home. The Parent Group of Brockway Elementary School had a fundraising event to help raise money for the parent group funds. Even though Sonic isn’t my favorite place it’s always good to help out your school or community. Makes me feel good when I can either help out or lend a helping hand to a person.
Other than that Kerry and I started organizing the office. Well we have one room down and several more to go!
Well today has been an indescribable day Home has ever felt so good! LOVE
it! Cheers everyone!
Until Next Time……………..
