Well it looks like I’ve made a mistake. I’ve tried to add a day somewhere a long the lines. So today is actually day 9 of my hospitalization, I will be able to go home on Tuesday. That’s okay as long as I’m home for Christmas with my family I will be a happy camper! Sorry for the confusion! :(.

Today was a pretty quiet day around here. Dr. Chakraborty came in this afternoon, said lungs are still sounding better! It’s nice to be able to finish a sentence and not gasp for air. Still coughing junk up, but my cough has definitely decreased since I’ve checked in. Hey as long as the junk is coming out and not staying in my lungs, I’ll take it! Didn’t hear back from Dr. Schiener today, hopefully tomorrow. Curious to see what the plan will be. Blood work came back pretty normal. Although my iron is still low, looks like I will have to get one more dose of iron iv before I leave.

Had a nice little surprise this afternoon. My dad brought my two furry four legged children (my dogs Maui & Callie) in to see me. We sat outside for quite awhile. Got lots of doggie kisses, which just makes my day! I’ve missed them like crazy! Sometimes I think the best healing medicine is being able to see your pets! I’m sure they have been wondering what is going on, and why I’m not at home. I’m just grateful my parents especially my dad loves my dogs just as much as I do. They take very good care of them while I’m in “jail”.

Kerry brought Red Robin in for dinner. Boy did it taste good! Getting burnt out on baked potatoes and gluten free grilled cheese. Needless to say Mercy doesn’t have a whole lot of gluten free food options. 🙁

Well my RT has arrived for the evening. Time to start the therapy train up and getting it rolling! Hope everyone had a good Thursday!

Until next time…..
