Today was another great day here in Seattle! Crawled out of bed feeling fresh and recharged! Kerry and I enjoyed a nice big breakfast downstairs, waddled back upstairs to our apartment just in time for The Price Is Right. After our morning ritual Kerry and I headed out the door for the hospital, had to get pick up refills on my medications, and was a quick trip.
After our trip to the pharmacy we arrived back at our apartment, where my parents were waiting. Even though it was overcast all day, the temperature outside felt great!! Perfect for walking around and taking pictures! My dad, Kerry and I packed up the camera bag and headed for downtown Seattle. We wandered around Waterfront Street for a little while, and then we made the climb up to Pike’s Street. I made it up 5 flights of stairs, and then rode the elevator. Before I leave Seattle I WILL make it up all 152 stairs! Took some great pictures!! Love all the bright colored flowers, and all the fresh produce! I have to say I will miss Pike’s Street when we leave. Love getting fresh flowers for the apartment! Also while we were wandering around Pike’s Street we picked up a few items for dinner. After that we headed back downtown to catch the Trolley back to our apartment.
When we finally made it back to the apartment I was more than ready to kick my shoes off and eat dinner! My mom cooked tacos for dinner, boy were the good! Now as I sit here downloading the photos from today, I happened to look at the health app on my phone. According to the app I took 7, 458 steps, walked 3.4 miles and climbed 5 flights of stairs. On top of everything I felt AMAZING!! Can’t explain how awesome it is to climb hills or most of the entire just walk and not be short of breath, or hacking up a lung. Indescribable!!!!
I thought I would upload a few photos from today. Enjoy!
Until next time………..

“Just Breathe”
Hi, Jen. I am Stephanie and Brandi’s mom and Jaxon’s grammy. (And Austin and Darian’s of course). I read your blogs daily and you are giving me hope for Jaxon. This disease is scary but you are kicking it’s butt. Of course, we hope they find a cure soon but you never know. Keep up the good work…you are an inspiration. Judy.
Hi Judy, this is Jennifer’s mom, Teresa, we met years ago in softball. This disease is brutal, but never give up, never stop therapies, never stop believing in miracles. Jennifer is proof they happen!
Good photos great walk for the day gainsville today we will see how Scotty does keep on truckin
So cool Jen your doing so great and your pics are amazing!
Love your photos, they made me smile! So glad you’re in Seattle during a beautiful season. You’re being blessed in so many ways.:)
Great pics Jen, I haven’t been to Seattle for quite some time. I forgot how beautiful it can be 🙂 Love the Husky sign, stinking dawgs!!! Thanks for texting me yesterday, sorry I do not have any of the old Roth stuff anymore. Hard to believe but that was over 40 years ago, we moved around a lot back then so things went missing or were damaged in the move frequently. I can’t think of one thing I still have from that far back. Anyway, have a great weekend 🙂
We are going to have a “Rat Fink” conversation when I get home Mr. Miller!!
Jen, it is so nice to read your blogs every night..sometimes I am so tired I skip a night and read it the next day. You are a miracle child now and sounds like you are doing so GREAT. Without God and your Angels watching over you the story may have been different. I am so happy you are able to live a fuller life now and your strength is increasing each day. What a blessing to have a supportive family too. Keep posting pics as they are beautiful.
