Started my day off with a phone call from Dr. Schreiner’s office. Looks like my surgery date has been moved up to this coming Tuesday! Hey I’m all for it! Let’s get this over with, get the central line out and be in tip top shape for the luau! Going to be a great time!
Since the weather was half way decent this afternoon “the girls” and I took my dad lunch down at his shop. We enjoyed our sandwiches while the girls played. We didn’t stay for more than a couple of hours. I had to be at ATC again at 4:00. Since my surgery date had moved up they need some blood work done before surgery. I will admit having a central line that actually cooperates is so nice! I just sit down in the chair and let the “vampires” do their thing!
After I had my blood drawn, I still had my four legged furry children with me, I needed to take them to Bailey’s Veterinarian Clinic, they needed their toe nails cut and get caught up on shots! As soon as we walked in the door Maui let it be known she was not a happy camper, and Callie growled at everyone and every animal in the waiting room. Once our name was called the vet tech took them back one by one, Maui did great, Callie on the other hand. The vet tech said Callie let several fluffy’s! Oops silly dog! Other than that they both did great! Once we got home my girls crashed! I’ve been trying to keep them awake and going, but haven’t had much luck! Ha ha!
I participated in another “pay it forward” the other day. I had a big sack full of clothes I didn’t wear anymore. I met up with a great friend and a wonderful teacher Mrs. Weber. She is an outstanding Special Education teacher! She knew of several students in need of some new clothes. So she jumped on the big bag of clothes. She held a “pop-up” sale within her classroom. A “pop-up” sale consisted of Mrs. Weber setting all the clothes out on her classroom floor. She then went around to her fellow co-workers asking if they knew of any students in need of new clothes. She called those students in one at a time to her classroom, and let them look over the clothes and whatever they thought would fit they took. Erin said at least 4-5 kids will be fully clothed by the time all the clothes are handed out! Totally made my day I was able to help others out! Love this feeling! Can’t wait to find another pay-it-forward project!
Well, today was another great day of breathing easy! Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, since Jwood and I will be out and about together! Who know’s what trouble we will get into! Ha, just joking! Going to be a great time! This girl is going to do her nightly routine, and then off to bed! Cheers!
Until next time……….

By the way this is why I am NOT allowed to bbq! Plastic tongs and a hot bbq’er do NOT mix! Oops! Well, we had a good laugh anyways. Looks like I better add new bbq tongs to my list! 🙂
There isn’t any better feeling than to pay it forward, so proud of you. We are excited for you, your sinus surgery is Tuesday. You are truly going to be a new woman! We love you lots! Keep up the good work.
