We left early this morning for Seattle. We were on the road by 7:15, first stop was Dutch Bros for coffee! Next stop was the gas station. Gas is kind of important, isn’t it? Ha! After those two stops we were on I5 headed north.

We cruised on up to Portland. We made a couple stops in the big town of Portland, one being lunch. We were looking for something quick so Five Guys Burgers and Fries it is! Their french fries are to die for! Love those things! After lunch we were headed north again. Only to hit traffic in Portland. It was slow going but we made it. Once we crossed the bridge into Washington the traffic picked up and we were moving right along. Right around Centralia traffic came to halt. It was stop go for so long it felt like! It was pretty much stop and go until we took exit 165 towards downtown! Gotta love Seattle (Washington) traffic!

We finally arrived at our hotel, we checked in found our room, put our stuff away. It was time for a walk, we both were tired of sitting! We walked at least a good mile or so tonight. I definitely needed the exercise. Even walked up hills to give myself a little challenge. I accepted that challenge and succeeded! As we were walking around we found a gelato store, I had to have a scoop of chocolate gelato. The last time I had gelato was when my mom and I went to Leavenworth, it still tasted like heaven! As we kept walking we noticed the city had put up like an outdoor activity center that anyone can use. We watched people play ping pong, corn hole, they even had giant chess games going on. Of course, I packed my camera with me. I will post some pictures below.

Well its been a long day, tomorrow will be another adventurous day. Time to do my nightly routine, and get ready to call it a day. Hope everyone stayed nice and cool today, it was a warm one! Even up here in Seattle, tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter! I packed several bottles of suntan lotion! I’ll be the pasty white person! Ha! Cheers everyone!

Until next time……..
