I apologize for not posting a blog the last two days. I was a little under the weather. It was the most bizarre thing! Thursday I had went swimming with a group of friends, coated myself in sunscreen, felt great all morning. But when mid day hit I was not fine. I felt like I was going to throw up. I ended up leaving coming home and it went all down hill from there. I had this horrible pain on the left side of head, even the light was affecting it. I thought maybe the sun had gotten to me, so I just laid down and took a nap. When I woke up I felt to times worse! I was trying everything under the sun from having to go into the ER. Dr. Chakraborty is out of town, Dr. Schreiner’s office was closed until Monday, I really didn’t want to get in the car and drive all the way back to Seattle. I just kept sleeping all day and night, and then finally about 4:30 I had enough, I was headed to the emergency room. My head was pounding and I had the dry heaves like no tomorrow. When we arrived we were seen right away, starting an iv would be a challenge and it was, but the nurse eventually got one in. They gave me a shot of pain medication, and anti nausea medication, after that I was in my own little world! Up next was a CT scan of my head just to make sure everything was okay. It took a little while for the CT report to come back, it stated I had chronic sinusitis. Not knowing all the interferences with antibiotics and all of my new anti-rejection meds they didn’t want to prescribe anything new. They only gave me some pain meds and anti nausea. Then we were on our way home. I was still in my own little world, so I crawled back in bed and stayed there for the rest of the day and night. Woke up fourth of July feeling better! Had a slight headache, but nothing like it was! Plus I was starving too!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Not only is today Independence Day, but it is also my 5 month lunnganniversary! My Aunt Levy and Uncle Terry are out here from Nebraska, so of course we had a family bbq at Aunt Pat’s house! It was great to see everyone! A majority of my cousins came, which was pretty cool, one of them Wendy I haven’t seen in I don’t know how long! Got some great family pictures! The North Umpqua river runs right through my aunt’s back yard. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck having conversations with the family, watching rafters come floating by! Lots of laughing and giggling taking place! Make my heart smile when I hear people laugh, or have a smile on their face, you know they are enjoying that particular moment in life! I sent a majority of the day out Glide with my family, then headed back into Winston just in time for the fireworks. Craig and Alesha had put on a bbq they have a perfect place to watch the fireworks! Winston put on a great show except for the big wall of fire! That was a little crazy! After the fireworks we ran up to Todd and Candy Boerste’s house. Had a really nice quiet visit up there. Candy even cooked me a cheddar cheese bratwurst, and boy was it delicious! I hogged down three of them! Those things were good!! Oh man! It was getting super late and we needed to head home, my eyes were getting heavy! Thank you everyone for having us over yesterday!
I tried to take some photos yesterday. From the family to the firworks. I will post a few down below.
Until next time………..
