Man-o-man is it cold outside!! My old airbags are NOT liking this cold crisp air! Feeling just kind of blah tonight. I’ve been on the go lately and I think it’s starting to catch up with me. So needless to say I started therapy way early this evening, and once my vest machine goes off I’m headed for bed!! Hopefully I’ll be good as new tomorrow morning!
Got a call from UW (University of Washington) transplant center today, to schedule our three month check up. The big day is January 20th. I will have to do PFT’s (pulmonary lung function test), six minute walk test, blood work, receive the last Hepatitis B sequence shot, and then check in with the surgeons. We will most likely leave Sunday the day after our event and come home Tuesday after our check up. I will most definitely take pictures and will post updates!
On a happier note my good friend and fellow CF fighter Jay Starr left for Pittsburgh today. D.R. Johnson graciously donated their plane to fly Jay and Sheryl back to Pittsburgh. Once they meet with the surgeons and come up a game plan Sheryl will let me know, and I will pass along any information I receive! I can’t express how happy I am for Jay! He has definitely done his share of fighting! He is one strong person! I send them nothing but love and prayers!!
We had a successful fundraising meeting Monday night. Our event is coming together nicely! I’m getting very excited! :). Tickets have been printed they will be mailing them out this week if you have already purchased tickets. Donations are still coming in for the auctions. Love it! Hopefully everyone is staying warm tonight! Snuggle down its a cold one! My therapy is complete for tonight, this girl is off to bed!
