Today has been a busy day! Holy smokes, where to begin! Started out with a phone interview with a gentleman from the News Review. He asked tons of questions! A lot of CF questions, and questions about our event. Our article will be printed in this Sunday’s addition! Make sure you get the paper on Sunday! After the interview I took our dogs out to play and burn off some energy. Maui chased the ball for a good hour I bet, while Callie just laid around in the grass. Silly dogs! Ha ha. Had a much needed chiropractor appointment this afternoon. Being in those hospital beds make my back super stiff. Felt like a bowl of Rice Krispies, snap crackle and pop! Felt so much better afterwards. Then it was off to our weekly fundraiser meeting. Everything is coming along! Next Thursday will be the cut off date for accepting any auction items. The list is growing by the minute! If you have something you would like to donate for the silent or oral auction please let us know! We would love to accept it!! If you’re wanting to buy tickets but not online, you can either purchase them at Creative Media Group (on Lane Ave downtown) or you may purchase them they day of the event at the door. You are most certainly welcome to purchase tickets on our website! We would LOVE to see everyone there! After the meeting Kerry, my Aunt Dianthia and I went to loggers for dinner. That place makes some very yummy pizza! Hit the spot! It was also nice to catch up with my aunt as well. I think the world of her!! If I need anything at all I can always count on her. She also takes extra special care of my two furry children, and they think the world of her too! The entire month of May while I was at OHSU she took extremely good care of my children! I (we) love her to pieces! 🙂
My friend Jennifer and I have been working on the center pieces for the event, and I have to say they are turning out great! Don’t want to give too much detail away, but I’m excited for everyone to see them! I didn’t get my nap today, so needless to say I am pooped! Started therapy early tonight, I’m struggling to keep my eyes open! Plus I have a busy day tomorrow as well. Starts off with a check up with Dr. Chakraborty! I have been feeling pretty good. Hopefully he will have good things to say! I have to weigh in tomorrow, better hit the tube feeds tonight! Get those extra calories in. YUCK! I keep reminding myself I have to keep gaining weight so I can get a new pair of lungs! It’s only temporary!!!
