Good Evening Everyone~
It looked like it was a beautiful day down in Roseburg today, Mr. Sunshine was shining bright today! Looked wonderful. It was a cloudy and windy day here in Seattle today. Great day to stay in get caught up on laundry, take a nap, watch/read the 4 Wide Nationals at Z-Max Dragway, watch Wrestlemania, but most of all just relax and get rested for the week. I will admit it felt great to sleep in, when I say sleep in I mean 9:00 am, my Tactrolimus is due at 9:00. Took my meds watched a movie with my mom and Kerry. We watched Fury, now that was an intense movie!! Sad, but good!
After our movie, I just dozed on and off on the couch, after I woke up, my mom and I walked down to the laundry room, did laundry for the week and also read up on drag races on my phone. Congrats to Antron Brown, Jack Beckman, Larry Morgan, and Andrew Hines on their wins today! When laundry was complete i just played around the apartment until Wrestlemania came on! LOTS of wrestling to watch! Kerry and I watched it on the laptop. I won’t give away any results, but it was AWESOME to see all the “old school” wrestlers come back! The NWO, Sting, The Rock, The Undertaker and more! It was a great night, well until the World Championship match between Brock “The Beast” Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. I was very disappointed with the outcome!!! gggrrrrr!!! Although I rocked my Roman Reigns t-shirt all day. Still fun to watch!
Okay so I have a pretty cool story to share with you guys. Late last night there was a knock on our apartment door. Kerry answered and it was the bellman from the front desk delivering a package. Of course I got excited, and ripped the box open! Inside was as care package from my great friend Molly Boyè and her students!! My eyes instantly filled up with tears, and I had just removed the pink shredded grass paper!! As I dug in the box, I could tell it was filled with lots of love! It was Easter themed, so of course it was filled with some yummy chocolates, cotton candy, Easter decorations for the apartment, wrestling and hot rod magazine, our and Jay Starr’s newspaper articles, but most of all each student took the time to color an Easter picture, and write a very inspirational note stuffed inside plastic eggs!! I was left speechless! The tears really started falling as I read each note! I can’t thank you guys enough for the fabulous care package!!! Molly that was very sweet of you and your students!!! I honestly can’t thank you guys enough! When I said I was “playing” around the apartment I was decorating the refrigerator! I did have my mom take a picture so everyone can see the love!! (I also had my mom take a picture of the back of my Roman Reigns shirts, for your certain wrestling students Molly!!). I will say the blow-up ladybug and bunny I’m holding, I am VERY proud to say I blew those up with my new feathers!!!! No I didn’t give up and use an air compressor ha ha!! I sat on the couch huffing and puffing but I got those puppies blown up! Oh yeah!!! As I think back about blowing those decorations up, it almost brings tears to my eyes. Don’t get me wrong I’m am super proud to say I did it, but I honestly cannot remember the last time I have done that, or even attempted to try. Hacking up a lung or having a twenty minute coughing fit just wasn’t worth the effort, I would give up and just ask for help. Not today!! Again such an amazing feeling, and a great workout for my new breathers!!!!
Today was a productive day in terms of rest, ready to take on the week! Monday morning we start off with rehab at 9:00 am! Got my nightly meds down the hatch, I better get the rest of my routine complete and head for bed! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! Goodnight!
Until next time………..
