Tool Shopping!

My oh my a “normal” bed never felt so good! Once my head hit the pillow I was out like a light, I don’t think I moved until my alarm went off at 6 am. Time for an iv, good thing it only takes a few minutes to push in. After that I was quickly back out, until my alarm went off at 9 am. Time to take my tacrolimus. I laid back down, just felt good to lay down and not be interrupted! Needless to say I had a lazy relaxing morning!

After I eventually finished my tea and got around for the day, I went shopping with my dad. This time is was different type of shopping. We went tool shopping at Harbor Freight. Had to make the trip full of laughter. My mom was pushing the cart and hen my dad wasn’t looking I would put random items in the cart such as: a giant container of brightly colored tie wraps, a can crusher, multicolored screw bites, a can crusher, bright colored marking tape, and a small skill saw blade I found on the clearance rack. I will admit I had a hard time keeping a straight face. We got ready to check out the first thing he noticed was the can crusher! He quickly respond with “what the hell!” Then he quickly noticed the brightly colored tape, colored by the drill bites, once he got to the skill saw he looked at us and said “are you freaking kidding me?” I said “hey if it gets dull you can sharpen it!” He just looked at me rolled his eyes and said “PUT IT BACK!” I thought for sure my mom and I were going to pee our pants laughing! Although he did keep the giant container of tie wraps! If anyone knows my dad, knows he fixes anything and I mean ANYTHING with tie wraps! OH man it was a good laugh!

After we finished tool shopping, my dad took me to McDonalds for lunch! I was craving a bunless plain double cheeseburger and fries like there was no tomorrow! Sometimes you just get weird cravings for food, well today was my day ha ha! Probably because I’ve lost weight, and my transplant doctors are after me to gain it back. I will say even after working at McDonalds as teenager, it did taste good!

We finally ventured back to the apartment got stuck in the Mariner traffic. So it took way longer to get back than normal. Oh well just in time to relax and watch the Mariners get their butts kicked again. Good grief, we need to rally the bats! Oh yes, my mom is back up here so guess what we had for dinner? You guessed it…………TACO’S! Ha ha!!! They tasted delish!! A home cooked meal never tasted so good!

Needless to say I’ve been feeling great all day, new breathers are working great! As the evening wines down this girl is getting tired. Don’t quite have all of my energy back just yet. But when I do look out Seattle this girl will be on the move!

I will say I am VERY jealous of you who got to go to the Jason Aldean concert tonight. I had a ticket, was suppose to be home for it, but with our little set back I’ve been enjoying all the Jason Aldean pictures on facebook! Hopefully next time I can get to a Jason Aldean concert and sing from the top of my lungs! Enjoy everyone!
