Good Evening Everyone!
Today was a take it easy day. Callie and I enjoyed the comfort of my bed this morning. We both were pretty lazy. I was starting to get restless so it was time to get up. I fixed a cup of tea and watched The Price Is Right! My all time favorite show! Which I’m pretty sure everyone knows that by now! Ha ha! After Hour Power was over I did a few things around my house. Finally got caught up on laundry, the basket isn’t overflowing anymore! Then I started working on several projects for the luau. Sad to say I wasn’t able to finish them, but I am close though! Felt good to make a big push on it though! My goal is to finish it up tomorrow, shouldn’t take me too much longer. Just can’t believe how quickly the luau is approaching! YIKES! I’ll get there!
Kerry had things to do after work, so I went over to my parents house for dinner. You guessed it she fixed tacos! Yummmm! We had a nice visit, although it was pretty comical listening to my dad talk to Direct TV on the phone! Man have’t laughed that hard since he took my mom and I to Harbor Freight! Good times!
After I left my parents I treated myself to a banana split from Dairy Queen. Man-o-man did it taste good! I think I was going through banana split withdrawals while being in Seattle. Had to have my fix! Ha!
The nose and sinuses are feeling pretty good today. Had a headache this afternoon, took a tylenol and that helped. Although Dr. Schreiner wrote a prescription for pain medication, I am just not a fan of taking them! I will say this post op pain is nothing compared to having my transplant! lol! I did my nasal wash this morning in the shower and I could not believe all the crap that coming out! Big chunks of dried blood kept coming and coming, I finally asked myself where in the world is all of this stuff coming from? But it did feel good to get it out! My nose has hardly bled today, which is nice wearing gauze under my mouth is not the most comfortable thing. Oh well just do what you’ve got to do!
Well I do not have much to report for today. Nose is healing, lungs are doing okay. Coughing up junk from yesterday. At least it’s coming out! But for now it’s time to finish my nightly routine and head for bed. Up and early tomorrow! Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!

Great to hear your recovery from sinus surgery is going well. It was also great to hear you took it easy and got some rest. Now you can get healed up and ready for the big Luau!! 🙂
Seriously folks, I do know how to cook more than tacos! If you haven’t guessed, tacos are Jennifer’s favorite food! She asks for them all the time, I have fixed shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, ground beef tacos and chicken tacos, doesn’t matter, she eats them all!

Happy to hear you are doing so well after your nasal surgery, after what you’ve been through that was a breeze. Talked to Aunt Pat last night and she says they are all going to your luau, sure wish we could make it, know it will be great!
Teresa, we all know you can cook beautifully but being Mom’s we fix what our child wants and with Jen it’s Tacos of any kind. ha Love you
