Yesterday my cousin Jay Williams his son Alec and several of their buddies from Seattle made their way down to Horsfall Camp grounds. They loaded up the quads, side by side, dirt bikes and campers and made the seven hour journey to the beautiful Oregon coast. I most definitely wanted to spend some time with Jay and Alec while they were in Oregon. So Sunday morning we left a little after ten o’clock and headed for the coast! I was beyond excited!
Kerry drove the car over. Once we arrived at camp the group was just coming back from a ride on the dunes. As soon as Jay got off his quad and took his helmet off I wanted a giant huge from him and that is just what I got! Ahhh it was so good to see him again and it was good to see Alec as well. After the hugs were complete it was time for the introductions! Ha! No but seriously everyone was really cool. After we chatted up a storm for awhile, and everyone had cooled off it was time to head back out to the dunes! Darek (ones of Jay’s buddies) has a way cool Artic Cat side by side, I put on a helmet, goggles, gloves (Lisa (Darek and Justin’s sister) gave me the load down, next thing I know I was sitting in the passenger seat getting buckled in. I had smile on my face from ear to ear. Darek jumped in the drivers seat, buckled in and we were off! It has been years since the last time I was out in the dunes, my first time ever at Horsfalls. Jay led the pack, and Alec was right behind him on their quads followed by Justin and Mason (Darek’s son) and then us. Once we hit the trail we were off in a hurry! I behind puckered a little bit, but my eyes were hurting from laughing! We were doing crab walks over ridges, doughnuts, spinning circles in the bowl, going over whips, and we even jump the side by side several times. I’m sure Darek thought “does this girl ever stopping laughing?” NO! I haven’t had that much fun in a long time!
Being family is always important. Jay has been a big support system for me throughout this journey, and it has definitely brought us closer. I can’t thank him and his buddies enough for letting come over and join in on their fun! While we were out on the dunes, the scenery is just beautiful! Your on top of a ridge one way you look you see sand dunes as far as the eye can see. While you look the other way you see the North Bend bridge and the entire town! LOVE IT! I just wish I had my big camera with me, lots of photo opportunities. I did not take my camera with me out in the dunes, I did not want to get sand in it and plus I just wanted to have some fun! Although Justin took some really cool pictures, I will post them below. Towards the end of the day we rode out to the beach. I was just mesmerized, breath taking! We were the only group on the beach, the waves were crashing in. I seriously could have sat there all day. Just something about the beach that makes you relax and calm.
I had a great day with Jay, Alec and the rest of the group! I cannot thank you guys enough for including me! I most definitely hope to do it again soon! Drive safe going home on Tuesday!
Today I did several loads of laundry, and a few other things around the house. I don’t mind washing clothes, it’s putting them away that drives me crazy! Ha! I wish I could find a laundry fairy to do it for me! Ha! Good luck with that, right? This afternoon I met up my good friend Candice and we decided to go to the movies. We saw Magic Mike XXL, all I can say is WOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! We ate enough popcorn to last us the rest of the year, but it is so hard to beat movie popcorn! Was so good to see her! Haven’t hung out with her in awhile, so glad we did today! Candice was one of my nurses who took amazing care of me every time I was in the hospital. She has a heart of gold, caring, passionate and just an all around good person! Thank you Candice for today, I had a great time!
Well tomorrow is lab day for this girl. I better get my nightly routine done and then off to bed! Plus it is Monday night and we all know one of my favorite shows is on tonight! You guessed it WWE Monday Night Raw! Have to watch and listen to the build up for Battleground this coming Sunday! Anyway I will post some pictures down below of our ride in the dunes on Sunday!
Hope everyone had a great Monday!
Until next time…………..

Hey stranger!!!
Good bye Jen. You were such a great friend to me. You helped me through so much. In my darkest time, your friendship was the light I needed to fight through. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think about wanting to end the pain I had. But you were right there to encourage and listen to me when I needed it the most. You were like the worlds best sister, even though we aren’t related. But you were my Cyster. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for always being there for me. I’m glad I was able to tell you that I love you like a sister and tell you how much you meant to me, just a couple months ago. I love you Jen and I’ll miss you forever.
