Greetings!

Today has been an interesting day so far! Started the day with scheduled sinus surgery, ended up in Seattle at Univeristy of Washington medical center. YEP! we got the call! All the nurses came in to tell us. It was pretty special that Greg, Teresa, and Dianthia were all there for the surgery when we got word! Then the chaos began. What to pack, how much to pack, are we driving, riding via ambulance, and what about the dogs! Turns out we did have a fairly good plan in place. I raced home to get some clothes, Greg and Teresa did the same, and by the time we got back to the hospital we were flying. Definitely the best way to travel. 1 hour flight! Candice rode up with us and went with jennifer in the ambulance to the hospital. I guess they went lights and sirens to make the 20 minute drive a little faster. Greg, Teresa, and I headed for the rental car. The hertz computer system was down so it took forever. It was probably less than ten minutes but it felt like forever!

I successfully navigated us to the hospital, thank you Siri, and we found Jen in her room already. Blood draws are done, x Rays are done, and the EKG is done. Jen just signed the consent paper. There is not really a timeline that they will tell us. They say, we will be the 2nd people to know. Now, we are just waiting. Not sure how long. The doc did say that she didn’t need to do her therapy as the plan is to do this today (meaning before midnight).

You could really feel the love today when everyone came to the airport to send us off. Ken and Jennifer, Craig and Alesha, Dan and Nickie, Dianthia, Lori, Kelly and Karsen, Scott, Leah, and Erin Weber (I’m sure she already posted pics on the book)

Time to get back to more waiting! I will keep everyone informed!
