Good Evening Everyone~
Today was an amazing day here in Seattle!!! I woke up super excited for the day, couldn’t hardly wait! I have to brag my dad made me scrambled eggs with cheese, and crab for breakfast boy was it good!!! I hogged out! Ha Ha! I knew I needed some protein for the day, it was going to be a busy one.
Two of the most loving, caring, very special couple flew up here just for the day to see me. Ken and Jennifer Wood came knocking on my door just a little after 9 o’clock this morning. It has been two whole months since I’ve seen Jwood (Jennifer), we couldn’t wait to hug each other! Soon as she came through the door we did just that. I think we hugged for an entire ten minutes, not really but boy it sure felt good to give her a hug and see her! I was excited to see Ken as well, couldn’t wait to give him another hug! I can’t explain the emotion just seeing these two people! After all the hugs and saying hello, we all headed out the door. We headed north to Marysville, Jwood and I were ready to have a “serious” shopping trip. In the car we were trying to figure out the last time, we had an actual shopping trip, and we think it was back in April 2014. We went to Eugene for the day, and then the next day I got super sick. Anyways needless to say both Jwood and I were looking forward to do some shopping together! The guys dropped us off at the Seattle Premium Outlets in Marysville and then they took off to check out some wineries. Jwood had created a map of specific stores we wanted to go into, after first I totally laughed at her, but looking back on it i’m super glad she did!
I thought I would get tired shopping and have to have a break. But I was wrong I kept right up with Jwood, something I haven’t done in a long time! I stayed right next to her, felt so amazing!! To be completely honest it was awesome having some girl time! According to my health app we walked 4.2 miles today around an outlet mall! So funny! Hey at least I was out walking and keeping up with Jwood! Anyone who knows her, knows she is a fast walker! Sorry Jwood had to put that in there! 🙂 Anyways 4.2 miles is equivalent to 8,449 steps! I love looking at my health app and then reporting to you guys, how far I walk each day. It’s just a miracle I am able to walk, let alone “just breathe freely” each and everyday.
After we were shopped out, we headed back to the apartment, parked in the parking garage and walked across to Chandler’s for dinner. Was super delicious!!! Kind of funny but made me feel good, Megan (the waitress we had the very first time we went to Chandler’s, who brought me the brownie with a candle) totally remembered me, and gave me a great big hug. I thought it was pretty cool she even remembered me!!
After everyone was stuffed, we “waddled” back across the street. It was hard to say goodbye to Ken and Jennifer this evening. I couldn’t say “goodbye” it was more like “see you soon.” I cannot thank them enough for coming all the way up here just to see me. JWood was also impressed with how well I look and how great it is to have her “shopping partner back!” I really truly enjoyed their company today, and cannot wait to go home and see them again! Ken and Jennifer you guys hold a special place in my heart, I can never repay you for what you have done for me, you guys are truly a blessing and I am very GRATEFUL to have you guys in my life! Can’t wait to see you again!!!!
Well it is getting late and this girl is pooped! I have to go see an ENT (Ear nose and throat) doctor tomorrow, so I better get some shut eye. Hope everyone had an amazing day, I know for a fact I did!!!!!!
Until next time……………

“Just Breathe”
Wow, what a great day, 4.2 miles in a mall that is amazing. I am usually ready to sit down after 10 minutes 🙂 Wonderful to see Jennifer and Ken up your way, they are indeed great people!! Glad you had fun and another great day!! 🙂
Keep on truckin they are a blessing for you guys God Bless
Ken and Jennifer Wood treat my daughter as if she is one of their own. They also have been very gracious to me in helping me start my own business.
Thank you,
Greg Myers.

So thrilled for you, it does the heart good to have friends like that, they feel more like family. God has truely blessed you all it sounds like! Keep on walking Jen, you are doing such an AWESOME job! Love to all.
First of all, you made me cry, but tears of joy. I can’t believe that it has been two months since I’ve hugged you! What a great feeling! Who would have known that several years ago, when we met an awesome math teacher and his equally awesome wife (who would become my kindred spirit sister), that we would become “family”. Through the good times and the bad (and we’ve had lots of both), we are there for each other. So here’s to many, many more good times like we had in Seattle! I can’t wait for all of you to be home permanently! Oh and by the way, I walk fast to attempt to keep up with my husband and his long legs, but yesterday I was walking fast to keep up with you!
